Ken's Schedule
I provide my clients with solutions focused service. Voicemails are returned the same day during the business week, and I set aside a couple of hours a day (typically 9a-10a and 4p-5p M-F) to make sure that happens predictably. I schedule eight in-person fact finding appointments (first appointments) with new clients per week (Monday - Wednesday at 10:30a and 2:30p and Thursday morning at 9:30a and 11:00a). I also complete fact finding appointments by phone for clients who are not able to make it into my office to meet with me. I do all this so that I can provide predictable, high quality service to all of my clients, all of the time..
I also keep this schedule so that I can have balance in my life. My family is very important to me. My wonderful wife, Laura, gave birth to our first child - Emma Christine - in February of 2002. Having time with my family, our friends, and my hobby (woodworking!) are important. My clients are important to me as well - so I've set my business up to take care of both. Appointments fill up on a first come first served basis, if you have a specific day of the week or time (of those I've described) that works best for your schedule, please drop me an email or give me a call. Appointments are scheduled for an hour, and can take place by phone or in person.
When we meet to do our fact finding I'll be interested in learning about your financial goals and resources, your fears about buying your next home (or refinancing your current), what is most important to you about the mortgage process, and what your ideal home loan scenario looks like (including monthly payment and how much money you want to spend in the process). Then I'll work to put together a set of solutions that address your goals and resources and explain the upside and downside of each option. There is no magic solution in the mortgage business - only a series of solutions. If you understand your options, you can make an informed decision about the solution the best meets your needs.
